2. What data we collect

Account data

When you register, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, job title, and company name. Authentication is handled via Clerk. If you belong to an organisation on Seerian, we also store your organisation membership and role.

Product usage data

As you use Seerian, we store the data you create or configure, including watchlists, dashboards, projects, your address book, Seera AI conversation history, connected portfolio integrations, and bookmarks.

Automatically collected data

We automatically collect certain technical information when you use our platform, including your IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, and error logs. This information is used to operate and improve the service.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect, store, or have access to your private keys, seed phrases, withdrawal credentials, or banking details. All exchange and wallet connections are read-only.

3. How we use your data

We use the data we collect to:

  • Provide and operate the Seerian service.
  • Improve our product using anonymised, aggregated usage analytics.
  • Communicate with you about your account, service updates, and support requests.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of our platform.
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulatory obligations.

We will never sell your personal data to third parties, use your portfolio data for proprietary trading, or share your information with other organisations on the platform.

5. Data sharing and subprocessors

We share your data only with the trusted subprocessors listed below, which are necessary to deliver the service. We do not sell your data.

We also integrate with third-party market data providers to power certain features. We send only the minimal data necessary (for example, a public wallet address) to retrieve on-chain information. No personal account data is shared with data providers.

6. International data transfers

Our primary infrastructure is located in the EU. Authentication data processed by Clerk is transferred to and stored in the United States. We ensure such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, in accordance with GDPR Chapter V.

7. Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and your subscription is in effect. Following account termination:

  • Account and usage data is deleted within 30 days of termination.
  • Encrypted backups are purged within 90 days.

We may retain certain data for longer where required by law or to resolve disputes.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

All users

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Export your data in a portable format.

EEA residents (GDPR)

  • Restrict the processing of your data.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Singapore residents (PDPA)

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate personal data.
  • Withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.

10. Children's privacy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify the organisation administrator via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. We encourage you to review this page periodically for the latest information.
